About Robin Cloward

Robin Cloward published her first poem at the age of eight and gave up poetry immediately afterwards. She went on to win a young adult writing contest with a story about talking mules. Obviously obsessed with four-legged creatures, she co-founded The Weekly Turf Freak, writing and illustrating stories in which the racehorses talked and the jockeys were kept in the tack room with the saddles. She also spent a semester writing for The Grunion, a satirical newspaper at Long Beach State. Somewhere in there, she began writing vampire stories. She has never stopped.

  1. Thanks so much for stopping by Gallivance to read Those Bodacious Baltic Beasties. We really enjoyed the Art Nouveau animals and are happy that you did too. And we really like your post on Teetering Through Texas since I once did the Stare Fair with a broken leg on crutches – but a wheelchair would have added a whole new dimension! Great story.
